It goes without saying that no sensible session stylist is on the job without a favorite can (or pump) of hairspray. We’ve had two high performing aerosols in our collection for nearly a decade, and they serve us well on the runways and in the salons. However, as technology evolves, so do we.

A year ago, science smiled on us when one of our brilliant chemists found an ingredient combination that offered the elusive flexibility our hairdressers seek when styling for the fashion shows. Backstage, hair must be styled quickly and often, which makes quick-drying flexibility very desirable. This new solution has intelligent polymers that dry down quickly to do amazing things.

We enlisted Bb. haute couture hairdresser Laurent Philippon to drive the fine-tuning over three fashion seasons backstage, in our salon and on set to create a high performance marvel – the perfect meeting ground for Does It All devotees who wish for a crisper finish and Classic fans who pine for
greater flexibility.

Brenna’s Favorite Things: Bumble & Bumble Tonic

Prep or Tonic? Brenna loves both - of course! So what’s the difference?

Tonic:

An alternative to prep - a different mix of herbs and vitamins plus a healthy measure of Tea Tree Oil to replace natural oil in chemically-treated or chronically dry hair.

It nourishes, smooths and detangles - a quick grooming tool (a favorite for men) and a great for those less likely to condition in the shower.

Why: lower pH than water, detangling, nutritious, lubricating, scalp-soothing, a must before styling.

Who: anyone; a better choice (than Prep) for dry, coarse, porous or colored hair.

How: spray liberally and evenly on damp hair and work through.
