At Salon Cuvee we do more than just work here – we believe in being a part of the community.
Members of the Salon Cuvee staff were proud to assist the non-profit group, Necessities Bag Sacramento during their October Workshop. Necessities Bags are given free of charge to women who are facing mastectomies. Volunteers assembled 70 bags and prepared additional Hospital Kits, Wound Care Kits, Stationery Kits, A-shirts and pillows for future bag stuffing. The group’s mission is to help to make a woman’s transition from patient to survivor an easier journey.

On the day after the election I was asked by the morning crew of Wayne, Jay and Reagan at FM 102  if I could bring a Aesthetician to perform a  Bikini Wax on  Juan Valdez a sacrificial lamb and DJ at FM 10.
Their reasoning was “No more Bush in office†and that was their way of welcoming our new president.
“Of course†I say, and Deana was up to the task. With wax pot in hand and lots of supplies we were off to the radio station. We are always up for a challenge and as DeAna says,  no muff is too tuff.
A perfect time to use that saying going to the studio at KSFM 102  and tackling Juan Valdez’s Bikini area.  A couple of screams  and a few tears but all in all a great sport and of course, got a lot of laughs.
They gave away several Bikini waxes on air and gave Deana and I some great memories and some big laughs as well. We had a great time spending our morning with the team at KSFM 102.
I am always up for a challenge and a good laugh or two but  political opinion will remain with me.
It was in good fun and I really enjoyed meeting the team at KSFM 102 radio.
