Summer at Cuvée - Celebrating 10 Great Years

Summer is our favorite season here at Cuvée when the salon and spa are always buzzing with activity. This summer is especially exciting to us as we build up to our 10 year anniversary in September. Here are just a few highlights of what’s happening:

• Salon Expansion! Last year we completely remodeled our day spa, and this spring construction began on an extensive expansion to our salon which will be unveiled in mid-August. We’ve never been more excited, and the expanded space is simply beautiful. Owner Brenna Simon and the construction crew discovered the most amazing wood floors hiding under what used to be our spa area. They’ve been fully restored and the team is simply speechless over how amazing the expansion looks and feels. • We’re Not just Bumbling Around. Cuvée team members Julie and Jessica return from New York as certified Bumble & Bumble Network Educators.
• New Products and Services to Tame the Curl. New Kerastase treatments and products coming in August - be sure to ask your stylist to add one of these exclusive services to your next cut or color. Struggling with curly hair? Kerastase has the answers: finally, we can now offer a line that distinguishes between fine curls that need definition and volume and coarse, unruly curls that need extra conditioning and control.
• The EYELASHES have it! We have a very exciting new service coming to our Spa this summer: Eyelash Extensions. Speak to one of our friendly receptionists or ask to speak to Jennifer from the Spa to learn more about this exclusive service. Pricing and appointment information available here on our website.
• Don’t Stress Out! because we’ve added Yuri and Michelle on the massage team! Did you know that regular massage can help prevent summer injuries? Our certified massage therapists do, and they are not only here to sooth away the aches and anxiety of life, but they are committed to your health as well. Summer is a great time to try new outdoor activities, and also an important time to take extra special care of your body. Tight muscles and built-up lactic acid can lead to injury, not to mention a lot of aches and pains, but you’re in good hands at Cuvee, where we’ll help relax those tired muscles, release those built-up toxins, and help you gently stretch and relax, so you can hit the trail or jump back on that jet ski.

Surf Spray
Salt water is no secret to stylists for adding volume and texture, and anyone who has been in the ocean knows it too - that salty, sexy, sun-dried, wind-styled feel (that seems such a shame to wash out). So while Bumble & Bumble hasn’t exactly bottled the real thing, they’ve replicated (and in some ways improved) it, including Seaweed and Kelp Extracts to enhance moisture.

Why
Texture, matte finish, volume, light hold

Who
Anyone; excellent for wavy types and landlocked surfers with winter blues; adds body to fine hair; a nice texture for silver hair.

When
Anytime; after Prep or Tonic Lotion, before styling

How
Work through damp or dry hair, let dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser. The less you touch it, the longer it will hold.
